Even ignoring how questionable that whole situation was, natakas is just not likeable. Quality is really low.

I could be wrong but I noticed something in one of the ending cutscenes that was super interesting... Before Alexios sent Elpidios away with Darius, he picked up a piece of red fabric and wrapped the baby with it.

Maybe the Atlantis DLC will redeem it, but I seriously doubt it.

I really wish they stop wasting perfectly good settings, there was once a time when I thought Ubisoft actually researched history and put effort into it but those times are gone. This is one of the most embarrassing things I have ever witnessed Ubisoft do. To me the only thing in question is how the Hidden Blade makes it's way into Cleopatra's hands. The second episode has been released today, and it is where the story of the hidden blade’s beginnings ends. We can only speculate if there are other places where this may have occured. We cant say for certain Jun was not a descendant as it was heavily hinted at that this is where it starts. Ain't nobody got time for that. The developers seemed to strongly insinuate that the Isu-Human Hybrid line for Assassins started with Kassandra/Alexios. As far as the DLC discussion, personally I'm ok with it as long as it is reasonably priced. Yes, showing the pyramids being built is idiotic and a shameful error, but the idea behind it still stands (= passing time). Even people who disliked the rest of the DLC seem to have enjoyed that part of the DLC.

For news, discussion and more about Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed franchise.

I thought that it moved pretty quickly and due to it being a more contained story all the new side quests tied into the main questline which is something i personally enjoy. It would of made the ending of the main game a lot more interesting.

It’s shameful. I'm really confused about the end cutscene in bloodline?

Your opinions may differ from mine but I enjoy having context for my killing. I may be in the minority here, but I feel like the ending to the Legacy of the First Blade, where it shows Elpidios growing up and the subsequent bloodline, was a bit anti-climactic. Also we learn nothing about the hidden blade or its legacy.

The quests were still the same as the main game and due to the bad writing and no new areas, the second part was pretty boring.

The end was ok, mainly because I'm not too familiar with the lore, but the more you start thinking about it, the worse it gets.In conclusion I can't actually remember anything or anyone talking about the first blade, except the beginning of the first part, it's continuity is obviously pretty broken. I felt its lore potential was rather good. People are waaaay too upset about that. Ubi should have seen that controversy coming a mile away and their token attempt to fix it is pitiful. Without Lore and Story it would be boring. Press J to jump to the feed.

I'm sure through the years (as its almsot 300 Years) Changes were made to the blade. The story beats it presents are interesting. It makes it seem as if the characters are wishy washy in what they want. The story was more about how Isu blood found it's way into a line of assassin's which made that the legacy of the First blade. As for The Op - maybe building of a pyramid in the background is simply used a metaphor? It didn't really introduce anything interesting, just more of the same stuff from the main story. By giving the players the ability to make choices it makes the Developer have to account for a ton of variety, Or at least pretend to. I dont mind the kid part, it was beautiful in a sense and good story decision. I would also like for you to tell me if I'm missing anything etc as i'm really trying to have a discussion as well. I feel even with these issues it's a step up from parts of the main story line in the base game. By having to contend with player choice I feel as if they never really pulled the trigger on tightening up the details or making it believable as it's entirely dependent on the player's action whether they love their mate. You have to investigate 5 bodies lying around the stream. Origins had a very flawed narrative, and even had a few significant retcons, but in the end it was something I could appreciate and take seriously and I respect them, and most of all Ashraf Ismail, for the effort they put into their games. Also the ending...The third episode regrettably didn't surprise, there seemed to be even less new quests. I also thought that the 2nd part of the DLC was a low point.

Ubisoft, a multimillion dollar company with abundant resources, don’t even know when the pyramids were built in a game about history. I thought meeting Darius and hearing how his assassination of Xarxes was interesting.

The last objective is to go to your son. Is elpidios bayek?

[Spoiler] the legacy of the first blade ending is actually pathetic spoiler Ubisoft, a multimillion dollar company with abundant resources, don’t even know when … The historical aspect used to be a focus of this series, this is just blatant laziness on the part of the devs.

For a game that gets praised for its female protag, they sure didn't care that Myrinne, a woman, is horrible at horse riding. I'm going to respectfully disagree. Overall it just felt like at some point they lost focus, or maybe they never had it to begin with and shoehorned Darius in to provide a selling point. Though, knowing how Ubisoft is known for their (academic) historical research, this mistake is nearly unforgivable and properly idiotic indeed. I enjoyed the game play of inquisition. For news, discussion and more about Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed franchise. My issue is the fact that they didn't fully commit to this so it comes across as bland and boring, Just like Natakas which I 100 Percent agree with you on is about as likable as a wet rag.

This is when the transition from Kassandra’s son to aya happens - it shows the pyramids being constructed.

There are two endings for the DLC, and some players are wondering what happens when you choose each of them.

The fact that Aya is a descendant of Alexios should of been main game and if it was some how included into the ending of the main game.

If the dlc is included in a book, then that would be cannon, just like the cannon story for the game is in a book. You discovered them, Hunted them down on the map, and than usually assassinated them in the middle of the town square, there was no challenge. The point is not really so much on the pyramids being built, it's to express how much time has passed between Kassandra and Aya, and the bloodline is still alive. The Hidden Blade has become a staple of the Assassin's Creed series, so it's very interesting to see how it was first used in Legacy of the First Blade. I've just accepted the fact that Ubisoft Montreal is the only one competent enough to write something that doesn't totally deface the brand at every step.

Infact a lot of lore brought up in legacy is just asking more questions than it answers. I would love to hear what your opinions are although I'm sure you have already stated them on this board. So for starters i feel as my opinion on this DLC will be a little different from most peoples.

This game has been such a waste of story potential so far.

I was honestly disappointed when it showed Aya instead of Bayek.… I feel as if the ending was well handled though and everything makes sense for the most part in the DLC. Edit: it is actually mind boggling brainlets are defending this, this should have been caught before it was released. That would take the DLC team to actually do some effort into the writing. Please Explain Legacy of the first blade bloodline end cutscene (Spoiler) // Discussion.

In order to do things proper theyd need to spread it into three such dlc of nine such episodes. 9 comments.

spoiler. I thought that Darius was well executed my only complaint is that it rules out a game with him as a protagonist. I thought the cutscenes that were done out of engine were done really well. I feel as if by doing this they can't force the story to take the path it so desperately wanted to go down. My last point I would like to make is that the Boss Battles continue to be a strong point of this game and this DLC did a couple of them really well. it's to express how much time has passed between Kassandra and Aya. This task will begin with a search for clues of crime around the village.

The fact that Aya is a descendant of Alexios should of been main game and if it was some how included into the ending of the main game. The fact that following that ancient to the top of a hill was a better follow xyz npc than following Myrinne through Sparta. No, it's stupid. It was a bit sad that it was set in Macedonia, but we hadn't really explored it before and maybe we would expand into new neighbouring areas...So when the second part came out, it was clear that we were not getting any new areas, the writing also took a huge dive and became very clear that a romance was forced upon us. The ending to that dlc shouldn't of been dlc. It's sad because legacy had a lot feels potential.

Long-time listener, first-time caller, so please forgive any rule breaking! However entire arc was way too rushed. Darius and his war with the Order and the continuation of the bloodlines. They have now wasted revolutionary France, Victorian London and Ancient Greece. The Hunter to end part one and the Shadows you face at the beggining of Part 3 in particular were excellently designed and fun to play. Now there are a couple of exceptions to this rule and I will go over those in this as well. I just thought the story was thin. It appears she is of Darius and Kassandras bloodline.
Also i'll be damned if you arent right about following the ancient to the hill being better than following Myrinne through Sparta haha. It's like they're willing to sell us all the fantastical mythological stuff as microtransactions but the DLC has to be a cliched revenge plot mixed with a retread of the "hunt down the secret society" plot mixed in.
